· Reservations made at least 3 months in advance requires a non-refundable $50 deposit to be made by credit card over the phone at time of reservation OR mailed and collected within 7 days of scheduling the reservation.

· Reservations made less than 3 months in advance requires a non-refundable 50% (of rental fee) deposit to be made with a credit card over the phone at time of reservation OR mailed and collected within 5 days of scheduling the reservation.

· All advanced reservations must be paid in full, 14 days prior to arrival date.

At time of check-in you are required to write a check for the Cleaning Security Deposit. You may use your credit card, but not cash. This is 100% refundable, so long as there are no damages, missing items, and the cottage is clean and in the same condition as you found it, before your departure. Fees vary based on cottage and length of stay. Upon checking-out, Hide-A-Way employees will check the cottage to ensure it’s in proper condition. If you leave it how we ask, we will kindly throw your check away, or simply not charge your credit card.

Please come to the office if you find any housekeeping issues or damages upon arrival to avoid getting charged.

If you need to cancel and we haven’t turned other guests away, we return all but $50.00. If we HAVE turned other guests away as a result of your booked cottage, we will hold the full amount of your total until we rebook for those same dates in that same cottage. Again, if we are able to rebook, you will get all but $50.00. If you cancel due to a traveler’s adversary, there is NO Penalty.

Hide-A-Way requires a minimum 2-night stay (unless otherwise noted) for all reservations made at least one day prior to check-in date. We do make last-minute, same-day exceptions for guests wanting to stay for 1 night only. Stay policies for Holidays and Buck Season vary as follows:

Standard rates found on each Cottage’s web page apply to parties including 2 adults & 2 children (15 or younger), except Cottages 7—10 (2 adults only). Additional guests will be charged extra as follows:

$15 per day plus tax for each adult $25 per day plus tax for each adult

$ 5 per day plus tax for each child $7.50per day plus tax for each child

Visiting hours are from 10:00 am—8:00 pm. Each guest must check-in at the office to sign the lease. There is a fee per visitor, as follows:

$7.50 per adult

$3.50 per child

3:00pm—7:00pm Monday—Saturday

4:00pm—7:00pm Sunday

If arriving late, please call the office in order for our staff to make alternate check-in arrangements for you. If our office closes before your arrival, we will include your Lease and Key in an envelope in the Key Drop Box located outside of the office. Please sign the lease and return to box before going to your cottage. All cottages are cleaned prior to guest arrival AND upon departure. Please come to the office if you find any housekeeping or maintenance issues upon arrival or during your stay and we will tend to it as soon as possible.
